It seems that Jo had picked up a bit of gastric flu on the ferry – she was feeling tender in her tummy there and thats finally working its way through- so today she has spent most of the day resting / sleeping.
having my normal constitution of an ox, I have spent the day quietly, chatting with folk on BlueSky and supping the odd beer – merely to maintain hydration levels of course!
One other thing I have done was some research – we saw a huge bird of prey as we drove down here through the hills (Mountains for us Norfolkians), and having taken the time to read up – it was probably a Golden Eagle – the first one i have ever seen in the wild – amazing beautiful creature! (This is not my picture – but wanted to capture the majestic size).

I have also been chatting with a retired Geography teacher about the local rocks – I do feel its volcanic pumice but He felt it could be limestone…. certainly some stunning rock formations.

Anyway – I am off to do my Florence Nightingale impression…..
